Since 1900, O’Shea Builders has been a trusted name for commercial construction services in Central Illinois.

John O'Shea started the business as a one-man, home‐based carpenter shop in Springfield. Today, O'Shea Builders has grown into the leading commercial construction-services company in Central Illinois, earning the "Top 100 Contractor in the Midwest" designation for the last ten years.  

While our ‘family’ has grown over the years, we remain true to our roots, delivering construction the O’Shea Way. Our mission – to create Exceptional Construction Experiences – represents the serious commitment we make to our clients, employees, design partners, and trade partners on every project. Founded in 1971, E.L. Pruitt Co. is a leading provider of HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, site utilities, civil work and manhole restoration for commercial, industrial, institutional and service/maintenance clients in central Illinois. 

E.L. Pruitt Co. expanded its services in the mid 1980s. In 1984, the company added the piping trade followed by plumbing services in 1989. Both trades became crucial to the business. A piping fabrication shop was added in 1999, making production and quality control of these services much more efficient for the customer.

E.L. Pruitt Co. is most proud of our history of giving back to the community. We partner with several active and charitable organizations including: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Illinois, Central Illinois Food Bank, Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach, Springfield Memorial Foundation, St. John's Health Foundation and the Springfield YMCA. We look forward to continuing to partner with them.
