LINCOLN LAND CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCES CHARITY CHIP-IN PARTNERS - Tournament week kicks off in 10 weeks

 Springfield—April 17, 2018—The Lincoln Land Championship presented by LRS announced today that over twenty organizations are signed up to participate in the 2018 Charity Chip-In program.  The Charity Chip-In program allows participating not-for-profit organizations to raise money via the sale of general admission tickets to the tournament.  One-hundred percent of the proceeds from each ticket sold via Charity Chip-In will go to the organization that is designated by the purchaser during the buying transaction.   New in 2018, participating charitable organizations will have an opportunity to compete for additional funds with the top selling organization receiving an extra $500 courtesy of CMC Farms.  Organizations interested in signing up to participate may do so until April 30th.  For information on the program, and to sign-up as a participating charity, contact Tanya Cooper at (217) 670-2910.

Volunteers are still needed for the 2018 tournament and online registration is open.  400 volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of committees including scoring, standard bearers, marshals, security and the practice range.  All volunteers who sign up by the end of April will be entered to win Callaway Chrome Soft golf balls.  One lucky 2018 volunteer will win a Stay-and-Play World Golf Hall of Fame package that includes; two nights at the Renaissance Hotel, one round of golf for two at The Slammer & Squire at World Golf Village, one golf lesson for two at the PGA TOUR Golf Academy at World Golf Village and admission for two to the World Golf Hall of Fame Museum and IMAX Theater.  For information on volunteering, visit http://www.lincolnlandchampionship.com/volunteer/ 


NEW IN 2018 – Upgrade to the Landmark Cadillac Club -   For the first time ever, individual passes are available into the Landmark Cadillac Club on the 18th green.   The Landmark Cadillac Club includes food and beverage, clubhouse access and access to a shared hospitality area on the 18th green.  Group ticket packages are available in the Landmark Cadillac Club and are an ideal way for businesses to entertain clients or employees and support the tournament.  For information on group ticket packages, contact Kate Peters at (217)670-2910


LRS Pro-Am – 6 Teams Available -  Sign up now to participate in the LRS Pro-Am on Wednesday, June 27.  There are currently 6 teams available.  Single players may also sign up and will be paired. Playing positions include an invitation for two to the Pairings Party on June 26, Round of golf with Web.com Tour professional, Tee Gift Package and VIP Passes for two for all four rounds.  For information on how you can reserve your spot, contact Kate Peters (217)670-2910.
